What God Gives When We Sin

As a kid, I grew up going to Grandma’s house which was on a Southern California beach. My parents were both teachers so naturally, we would spend the entire summer there.
“Just when you think God is done forgiving you, He forgives you more. Just when you think you have tapped into all his love, a new layer of God’s love is revealed. Just when you think his resources of blessing in your life is tapped out, a tidal wave of blessing continues to come your way”Pastor Ken

The water was clear and blue, the shells were stunning, and the sea creatures were numerous! Then in 1978 as a Junior in High School, I went to Hawaii with some friends. And as amazing as those SoCal beaches were… the tropical blue sea was bluer, the brilliant shells were brighter, and the fish in the Maui waters were in 3D brilliance!

I remember thinking “Wow! What was incredible just got redefined to out of this world!!”

That is exactly what God’s grace is like for you and me! Just when you think God is done forgiving you, He forgives you more. Just when you think you have tapped into all his love, a new layer of God’s love is revealed. Just when you think his resources of blessing in your life is tapped out, a tidal wave of blessing continues to come your way!

“But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”Romans 5:20-21 NIV

God’s grace is essentially undefinable in the sense that He keeps giving and giving and giving even when you have nothing to give back to him!

Remember, He counters our sin with grace upon grace. What a deal!!

Receiving grace with you,
Pastor Ken
