BackCountry Kids

You’ll Flip Your Lid.

It’s The Most Fun Place

Worshiping Jesus is FUN!
Activities are designed to show kids who Jesus is in an exciting, personal way,
and He’s the reason behind everything we do.

Classes are led by staff and volunteers dedicated to showing kids the love of Jesus. Anyone who has contact with children has gone through a criminal background check, interviews, and training to be qualified to work with Backcountry Kids.

We meet during services on Sundays at 9:15 am and 10:45 am. Our nursery is equipped with a silent paging system so parents can feel at ease while they worship.

The Hollow

The Hollow is for kids three years old through kindergarten. Our activities tickle all the senses, making mastering the concepts a blast. Crazy fun activities, crafts, large group Bible story, worship time – they’re all part of the plan to help children believe three key things: God made me. God loves me. Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Click on the Parent Cue link to access resources tied to the weekly lesson, helping you reinforcing at home what was introduced at church.

For Parents

Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three simple, but powerful, truths.
The entire curriculum is constructed to meet your preschoolers where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially.

Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths.

  • God Made Me
  • God Loves Me
  • Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Learn More:

We use 252 Basics curriculum and want our elementary aged kids to know these basic truths:

  • WISDOM – I need to make the wise choice
  • FAITH – I can trust God no matter what
  • FRIENDSHIP – I should treat others the way I want to be treated
