Ages 0-2

The Meadow is loving, safe environment for little ones from birth to two years old. Our dedicated caregivers love to hold, rock, and interact with infants, our smallest guests. Older children have a full program of upbeat worship, fun and interactive Bible stories, simple crafts, and free play. It will be their favorite hour of the week!

Ages 3 - Pre-K

The Hollow is for kids three years old through pre-kindergarten. Our activities tickle all the senses, making mastering the concepts a blast. Crazy fun activities, crafts, large group Bible story, worship time – they’re all part of the plan to help children believe three key things: God made me. God loves me. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Grades 1st - 5th

The Treehouse is for kids in Kindergarten—5th grades. These years are critical, as kids are forming their perceptions of themselves and how they relate to God and others. Our service focuses on meeting their needs in an exciting, relatable, and FUN environment.

Sunday Mornings

We offer a full children's program at each of our Sunday morning service times.

Peace of mind so you can just attend

We provide a full children's program during both services at 9:00a | 10:45a. Our nursery is also available during all services and with a silent paging system, you can go engage in worship and feel at ease knowing we'll be in direct contact.

Activities are designed to show kids who Jesus is in an exciting, personal way,
and He’s the reason behind everything we do!

At New Community, our goal is to partner with parents to help kids learn who God is and what He has done so they can grow up and believe that nothing is too big for God to handle.
Sunday mornings are about serious fun – interactive worship, funny dramas, dramatic storytelling and small group breakouts that focus on caring for your kids.

Sunday Buddies

Our Sunday Buddy program pairs loving adults and teens with a child who who may need a little extra assistance to have a positive Sunday morning experience. Some children benefit from a one-on-one Sunday Buddy that assists them in their age-level environment. Other children may benefit from a less stimulating environment and will be paired with a Sunday Buddy in the quieter Kids Club room. Our Sunday Buddy Program is available during the 11:30a service.

If you have a heart for kids and a special desire to assist those that could use some additional assistance, we would love to talk to you! As a Sunday Buddy, you will be assigned to a student and will report to their class each Sunday and help provide the little extra care they require. Some training is required, but if you would like more information on becoming a Sunday Buddy, please follow the link below and we'll be in touch!

Kim Lubenow

Children's Ministry Pastor

Kim has a heart and passion for the next generation. Her love for kids of all ages is evident in the care she provides in organizing all the details for ever Sunday, each series, and countless special events. This kind of care and love for kids is rare and something that can be seen in the smiles of the faces of kids when the come to church or see her in the community.

Jen Amrine

Early Childhood Pastor

Jen is the most compassionate and caring individual you will meet. Her love for the littlest of the little ones shines through her smile as she is busy arranging volunteers and swapping out environments for the next series. You will not find a better person to manage the nursery and care for your kids!

Alison Schepel

Children's Ministry Coordinator

Alison brings her amazing communication and organizational skills to our newsletters, curriculum editing, social media and event planning projects. When Alison is not doing an incredible job as "chaos coordinator" you may find her serving on the board for Young Life or leading our Moms of Teens Small Group. Fun fact: We think Alison could run a small country.
