Sunday mornings are about serious fun - interactive worship, dramatic storytelling, and small group breakouts that help kids apply God's truth and build relationships.

Ages 0 - 2
The Meadow is a loving, safe environment for little ones from birth to two years old. Our dedicated caregivers love to hold, rock, and interact with infants, our smallest guests. Older children have a full program of upbeat worship, fun and interactive Bible stories, simple crafts, and free play. It will be their favorite hour of the week!
Ages 3 - Pre-K
The Hollow is for kids three years old through pre-kindergarten. Our activities tickle all the senses, making mastering the concepts a blast. Crazy fun activities, crafts, large group Bible story, worship time – they’re all part of the plan to help children believe three key things: God made me. God loves me. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
K - 5th
The Treehouse is a fun environment with dynamic kid-led worship, games, engaging Bible stories, and small group activities to connect Biblical truth to real life. Each child has a wonderful small group leader that cares about them! Our 4th and 5th graders start in the Treehouse for worship, then follow their small group leaders to the mansion for special preteen videos and activities. Parents can pick up 4th and 5th graders on the front porch of the mansion after the service.

I began volunteering in ministry with children and jr high students while I was in high school, and have been blessed to serve at New Community since 2001. I love seeing children develop their own faith, trust and friendship with Jesus, and discover that they can trust God no matter what. I get so much joy from seeing our team members develop as leaders and learn to use their gifts to serve kids and families!

I’ve volunteered and worked in Children's Ministry for over 25 years. There are many things I enjoy about ministry, but my favorite aspect of it is the interactions I have with a child or a leader on my team. Working with kids to further their development and understanding that Jesus loves them no matter what is why I continue in my current position. This is where I feel God is using me every day.

I have been involved in ministry since I was in high school. In addition to being part of the NC/KIDS team, I also volunteer with Women's Ministry at New Community and I help with Young Life in Maple Valley. My favorite part of ministry is definitely CAMP! Getting away to learn more about Jesus while also playing games and having late night talks and crazy adventures is the BEST!
