Ladies Getaway Weekend 2025
November 7–9 | Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Washington
Theme: Empowered – Women of Strength, Stories of Faith
Get ready for a refreshing and powerful weekend away with the women of New Community Church! Join us November 7–9, 2025 at the beautiful Suncadia Resort for a time of connection, worship, rest, and renewal. This year’s theme, Empowered: Women of Strength, Stories of Faith, will lead us into the inspiring lives of four remarkable women in Scripture—Miriam, Deborah, Hannah, and Mary—whose stories of courage, faith, and obedience still speak to us today.
We’re thrilled to welcome Johannah Dalgardno as our keynote speaker. Johannah is a gifted teacher and theologian with a passion for helping women deepen their understanding of the Bible and grow in their identity in Christ. Her teaching will challenge and encourage us as we discover what it truly means to be empowered by faith. Whether you're coming for a spiritual reset, deeper community, or just to breathe deeply in the mountains, this is your invitation to step away from the noise—and step into God’s presence.

Meet Johannah Dalgardno
We are excited for you to get to know and spend some time with our friend, Johannah! Originally from Australia, Johannah moved to Seattle at 23 (it’s a long story—ask her about it sometime!). She’s now based in Reno, Nevada, where she lives with her husband Nick, who pastors Reno Christian Fellowship, and their two amazing kids, Cadence (13) and Matthias (9). As a family, they love rock climbing and cheering on their kids at soccer games. Each new season of parenting is her favorite yet.
Johannah recently completed a ThM (Master of Theology) focusing on the prophet Obadiah in ancient rabbinic literature—though she promises not to talk your ear off about it (unless you ask!). She currently serves as a hospice chaplain, where she lives out her deep conviction that no one should suffer alone. Her passion for the “ministry of presence” reflects her heart for people and the Church. Johannah is a gifted teacher and theologian, and we’re thrilled to have her join us for this year’s retreat. She’s looking forward to what God has in store as we gather together to seek Him.
